Poetic Journey Project

Salutations, fellow poets! We have what we hope is a fun idea for a writing project. Remember those old poems from back in the day you've written and forgotten? Well, let's dig those up and see how we've improved!

The main idea of the project is to submit your old poems in their present state and (with the help of others), edit your pieces so you can compare the difference in your writing level and style in the time that's passed.

Guidelines:

The project is open to all devART members

One automatically-accepted submission per member to the designated gallery folder per week

Whenever you write up a new draft, please submit it as a separate deviation, as opposed to editing the original, so we can track your progress

Please indicate either in the title or description of your piece(s) that you took part in the group's project

Please title your drafts with their corresponding numbers

After you feel you've perfected your poem, you may submit the finished piece to our Featured gallery folder

In order for your poem to be considered for the Featured folder, you must provide critique for at least one poem submitted for the project

For now, there is no end date and no competition. This may change depending on participation, in which case we'd want to offer some prizes for all your hard work. So, any point donations you'd like to contribute would be much appreciated.
